Heisenbug 2024 Spring Conference Highlights

The Heisenbug 2024 Spring testing conference in late April showcased the SM Lab team's impressive achievements.

Our First Steps in Loading presentation ranked 2nd in the audience poll! Alexander Naumov provided insights on handling urgent load testing needs in your project and shared his personal experience. He outlined steps to take if your project lacks load testing experts and you are pressed for time to engage a contractor. He emphasized the necessary information needed, the load profile's inputs, sources for the reporting data, and highlighted results achieved within just a couple of weeks.

Secondly, our booth at the conference ranked 2nd in the visitor voting results! This time the event was themed around the Star Wars universe. Many attendees happened to be fans and enjoyed taking photos with Jedi lightsabers, Mandalorian, or Darth Vader helmets.

We also hosted a QA WARS session, where attendees tested their Force in writing test cases.What tester would turn down such an opportunity?!

Thirdly, Mikhail Kurguzov and Eduard Menshchikov spoke on localization and its integration into the software testing process. They explained the concept of localization testing, its workflow, the potential consequences of omitting this critical stage, and strategies to prevent adverse outcomes.They also offered guidance on preparing for this phase of the localization process and suggested tools that can streamline the successful product launch into new markets. The report struck a chord with the audience. Mikhail and Eduard were delighted to share the latest best practices for localizing IT products in general. This is a highly specialized yet crucial issue for many companies. It is wonderful that we could share our experience!
